Frogs

Two-million frogs are killed per year to provide the so-called delicacy of their hind limbs which are severed from the living body! Ironically, frogs protect us from insect-borne diseases like malaria and they also protect our agricultural crops from being infested with pests.

Sheep

More than 10 million sheep are exported for slaughter every year. The sheep endure a long journey by train or truck piled on top of each other and they are fed only dry pellets for food. Many sheep die during transport and the rest are slaughtered for meat.

Dolphins

These friendly mammals which help seamen lost at sea find their way back to land are killed for meat in Japan and the Arctic circle. They are taken alive for circuses where they are made to perform tricks for the entertainment of people.
